Our founder Jim McCracken started the organisation in 1991. We are a company limited by guarantee, our primary aim is to provide employment support training and to alleviate poverty by helping people to retain and secure jobs. We also provide low cost holiday respite accommodation and other services which support individuals and community groups. We are recognised as a charitable organisation and our registration number is SC020732. Although we are a charity, our belief has always been, that we are "first and foremost a self sustaining enterprise". Following through with this belief, we have created a financially sustainable organisation with the ability to adapt and change as and when required.
